Smithfield Homestyle Breakfast Protein Omelet Bites, 4 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big snacker so when I saw the Smithfield Homestyle Power Bites I knew I had to try them and I'm so glad I did. They come in a convenient cop and are the perfect popable size. They taste delicious and are great to have in your kitchen.

We bought it today March 3rd 2023, but when we get home we noticed that on the cover it says used by February 5th 2023. When I go to any market, I expect to get fresh food; without worrying about the expiration date. I understand that sometime staff doesn't have time to take it off by the date, but this has been up on the shelf for an entire month.

I stopped one morningvst the Murphy Service Station on CR 466 Oxford, FL the container caught my eye. The clerk said, " they are really good". I tried them and and could not stop eating the. The experience was like putting a lavishing, sumptuous piece of rich creamy chocolate in your mouth.

I was actually expecting it to fail, LOL. Pleasantly surprised by how tasty these were. They're a bit spicy, but not too much, imo. The only reason I took of 1 star was that I found them rather salty. Not inedible, but it could stand to have the salt reduced.

I am a RNY gastric bypass survivor. I cannot eat much of anything with a lot of bulk to it or it causes me untoward results. I can eat small amounts every 3 hours. So thes are nit only tasty but not many carbs and high protein. One container = 2 meals for me. I carry a small sealed container that I can microwave with me wherever I go. Only issur I have is finding these in any significant number at one store abd have to go store to store looking for them. I hope once they get out that will not be an issue. Im betting Publix will order them in bulk for me si I can freeze them. ALL 3 flavors are excellent.
