As others have mentioned the comfort of these headphones is excellent. I play an average of 3-4 hours when I game on COD and they fit and wear well. The sound is excellent. I can hear the footsteps all around me. I can hear ambient sounds that my Sonos sound bar just couldn't produce. The highs, mids and lows are well balanced. Too much bass and it would lead to to fatigue. Of course the draw back is the microphone(s). The built in one is useless in gaming I really hope its going to be fixed its been over a month for just a firmware issue. I have not received my boom mic yet but I just registered last week. The smart phone mic is a joke as well everyone says thats muffled too. If they fix the microphone issues it will be a solid 5 out of 5. The phone cord, well I don't really plan to use it on my phone but it would have been nice. Also if you really wanted to be picky not being able to hear your voice is slightly annoying but livable if I didn't feel like I had to shout so my friend could hear me.

These things are great. Seriously great. The game sounds really crisp, and the headphones cancel out noise around me in the house. Also, they crazy comfortable. I've worn them for twelve hours straight (I'm sharing this with you in confidence) and they never once bothered my ears or anything. Also, since Polk released the new mic, my friends say that I have the clearest sound on chat. (Before that they said I sounded like I was underwater). I think Polk nailed it on these headphones and would totally recommend them to anyone.

Mic issues aside I'm not sure about the audio. COD:Ghost on the One sounds great and I have positional sounds(footsteps, gunfire, etc.). Titanfall I can't hear any positonal sounds. That may be the game. Having run Turtle Beach COD:Deltas on the 360 for two years i'm not impressed. Not a bad set just not up to what I'm used too. They fit nice and sound is good at night when the family sleeps, but I will be looking for a better set.

The Good: The sound quality of these headphones is good. They seem to be well-built and should last for years. The Bad: The microphone is very poor which is a serious problem for a gaming headset. I can barely be heard on in-game chat unless holding the mic up to my mouth. I tested the headset with my smartphone based on Polk President, Kevin Duffy's statement. The sound was better than in-game chat, but still muffled. An XBox One software patch will not be enough to fix this problem, Polk. Chat needs to be loud and clear in order to be heard over the explosions, gunfire and environmental noise in today's most popular games. Another problem is that the sound control buttons do not work properly. Chat and game volume cannot be adjusted independently using the buttons on the controller interface. I am not happy with this purchase and will not recommend to anyone until these issues are fixed.

Sound is great. Locks up controlller. Volume for chat is poor. Volume control chat/game is funky and not very solid. Might have to return. Sad. Sound is epic so hopeful for fix
