U by Kotex Click Compact Tampons, Regular Absorbency, Unscented, 16 Count

I honestly can't believe you've done away with Kotex security and thought these would be a better replacement product. These tampons are junk. I've used Kotex for the last 15 years and I have sworn by them. Now I can't even make it through a store to buy a new box without bleeding myself. I can't do any shopping or make it through the night without bleeding onto the bed. It's disgusting and incredibly frustrating. By the time I make it to the bathroom it looks like a massacre ha happened. I've went the last 3 years without a period due to pregnancies so now having to go through them is even more miserable than it use to be because your products are now junk. I now have to hunt for another brand and try to get through all my Christmas shopping without having buy new pants. Thanks a lot Kotex!

I was a devoted user of the Kotex Security tampons for 15 years. The Security brand worked great, was absorbent yet small, and the applicator was easy to use and reasonably comfortable (as comfortable as an plastic applicator can be). The string never got stuck in the plastic tube and the packaging was always great. I am very disappointed that they were discontinued. I purchased the Compact Click tampons over the weekend and so far have been very disappointed with them. The pros are that they are, as the name states, compact and therefore discreet. That's pretty much where the pros end. It is hard to pull out the applicator to lock in place, and there have been times when I've accidentally pulled too hard and yanked out the end wand altogether. The string is too long and gets stuck in the applicator which then pulls the tampon after inserted which then becomes too uncomfortable and I end up just having to take it out. And the tampon itself...oh my. Whoever thought that a 1.5 inch cotton ball was going to do anything was dead wrong. I'm a doctor and my procedures take 4-8 hours at a time. This tampon will barely last 3 hours, and that's on a regular flow day! There is minimal absorption and it almost always leaks. The string is red after a couple hours. I have loved Kotex for years and I am so upset with this change. I don't want to deal with having to find a different brand of tampon, but I also can't use the Compact tampons any longer. Unless they bring back the Security tampons, then I will be going to another tampon brand.

I completely agree with the rest of these negative reviews. I am very unhappy that you discontinued the Security line of tampons. They did exactly what the name says, Security!!! The new small more compact tampons feel like you have nothing there and no security. No matter if I use the super or regular I always have leaking. I would rethink bringing back the security line.

So as many other girls and women know, our precious Security Tampons have so wrongly been taken right out from under us. Now we're left in a corner trying to figure out what to do next. Like many others, I read that the “click” was the “better alternative”. So I bought the smallest pack possible- and tried one out. Right off the bat, I couldn't get it to go in all the way, and it took about 3 tries just to get it right. Even when i did get it in the right place, when I got up and started moving around, it felt like I had shoved a toilet paper roll inside me. It was painful. difficult to insert. And I'm just heartbroken that my tampons have been discontinued strictly because of a “business decision”... I'm never buying another product from Kotex ever again if this is how they treat their loyal customers... Great job, you lost thousands of customers and have put so many in a horrible situation.

I have successfully and happily used Kotex tampons since my first period and I was so sad to see that they have recently been discontinued and the Kotex click was its replacement. i tried it because I trust the brand but man oh man…they don't even expand! I have never leaked so much in my life :( please bring back the old version.
