Combine potatoes, sauce mix, 2 cups water, 2/3 cup milk and 2 tablespoons margarine in 3 quart saucepan. 2. Heat just to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat and cover. 3. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and sauce has thickened. Double recipe: Use a 13 x 9 inch baking dish or roasting pan. Follow Easy oven recipe with 2 packages potatoes, 4 cups boiling water, 1/4 cup margarine and 1 and 1/3 cups milk. Bake as directed. Microwave recipe: Combine potato slices, 2 cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine in 2 quart microwave-safe casserole. Microwave on high for 10 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Do not drain. 2. Stir in sauce mix and 1 cup milk; Mix well. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Let stand about 5 minutes to thicken sauce.
