This EverStart brand 6-12V Battery Terminal is used to replace worn out / broken battery cable end. This can be used for either automotive or marine battery applications. Everything about the battery terminal is heavy duty as you can tell just by picking it up. I especially like the wing nut to connect the cable to the terminal.

This is a marine terminal that's designed to work best with marine batteries. Designed to discharge energy over a longer period of time than an automotive battery, these are made to withstand a steady stream of power rather than a short sudden burst like you get when starting your car. The fasteners are light and strong. Square bolt heads prevent unintended loosening from constant vibrations associated with boats and their constant bobbing. Wing nut to attach cable and remove easily for storage. Usually when you get one of these they're covered in kicks and scrapers but this one seems to have held up pretty good. The packaging is weird. Plastic is stiff and easily cracked. It's a bit jagged where it breaks off but that doesn't affect the terminal itself. It may actually be why the terminal is in such good shape.

These work great for boat batteries and golf carts batteries. They are very sturdy. Metal is not soft and won't round out easily at sinch point. Use a little dielectric grease around battery terminal and on the wing nut to help with corrosion.
