This is exactly what I needed for my second hand car. When I bought it It had no front tag nor screws. Custom accessories fasteners are just right. they work good on my car for my decorative liscense plate. Love to be able to decorate and embellish. Be careful though, there are different types for different cars so make sure it will fit your vehicle.

These Auto Drive license plate fasteners from Wal-Mart come in a package of four screws and nuts and a hex key is included to install the plate. The screws are stainless steel. I like this because I drive my Jeep six days a week on a rural mail route. The road conditions are far from ideal including mud and snow, I think the stainless steel will resist rust. The fasteners are anti-theft. I am not as concerned about theft as much as I appreciate the snug fit because the rough roads shake things loose. That is why I chose these fasteners because my license plate had 2 screws missing that had fallen out along the way. It seems that these will stay tight.

Unfortunately, we didn't decide to use them for the following reasons: 1. The bolts that come out are a different size as the new replacement bolts so we were unable to just switch the bolts. This was the case on both our Toyota Camry and our Subaru Outback. 2. We did not feel confident that the new replacement clips will fit securely if the original clips were removed. 3. The wrench that was included with the bolts is very small and easily misplaced or lost. If a new wrench can be purchased that kind of negates the reason for the bolts. 4. The advertised language of "custom" seems a little misleading as these are not well made and are a ready made over- the -counter product It is a good idea, but not a good match for us and our cars.

I was actually needing something to put my plates on the front of my vehicle. These do not really work well for a vehicle that has an attachment holder for the bumper or the rear licence plate. We did finally manage to use them but not in the correct way according to the picture instructions. The package had no instructions to help you if you didn't have a normal plate holder. The screws did not work well for the plate, the heads were barely big enough to keep from going through the plate. The plastic nuts seemed very flimsy and I doubt they will hold up well over time. Overall I would not purchase these as a long term attachment kit.

These anti theft screws will give invaluable relief knowing your car and license plates will remain securely on your car when it is parked over night in a strange area. Having had my custom wheel trims stolen some years ago while on vacation, the feeling of security the anti theft screws would be quite priceless. They should give peace of mind also that they are not going to come loose and be lost, and knowing that these cannot be removed with any screw driver. However, as secure as these plate screws look, a determined thief sadly can remove these plates with the right size Allen key. To be totally anti theft, a garage mechanic would be able to advise on what method should be used to keep special plates permanently on your car.
