Amazing little machine! Has a few quirks but it is great! If your expecting fully automatic dont! Otherwise i highly recommend it. The hoses could be nicer but they are sufficient. Go to your local hardware store they can hook you up with nicer hoses. This is perfect for my family of 2 in a tiny apartment. We just hang to dry in shower and next day its dry. Use an iron for touch up and your all set. Perfect for my hand wash and delicates. Not to mention swim suit and gym things!
I purchased my twin tub yesterday, and used it for the first time in my bathroom, couldn't really connect hose to my sink I could only connect half way to faucet, and I walked in my bathroom after clothes were done to a flood of water. I moved the washer out of the water, and mopped so I thought I will use my shower next time to wash, and I did another load, and the tub did an awesome job with cleaning my clothed and drying them. I love my washer overall using common sense next I will never wash on level floor only in my shower so water can drain in shower, and not on my floor, but I love it and hopefully it will last me awhile. I glad I have a walk in shower I can just push it in there, and a hand held shower head I use to fill my washer up with water. I don't know why it leaked on my bathroom floor, but overall its pretty good.
Recently disposed of the little twin tub washing machine that my Grandmother bought in 1969 from Montgomery Ward. It lasted 50 years before finally biting the dust. Decided to replace it. My one requirement was that the machine have a built in pump. I did not want to deal with a gravity drain. After some research I decided to purchase the Ensue 9lb mini washer with built in pump. It came today. Needless to say it pales in comparison to 1969 twin tub I had. But I pretty much expected that. But it washes and spins fine. My one big disappointment is the drain pump. Sitting in my bathroom the pump will not raise the water high enough to even get it into the toilet, much less the sink or bathtub. I had to wrestle it up onto a stool (the machine is very light weight, but full of water it's heavy) in order to get it to drain. So even though this machine has a built in pump, the pump is worthless. It is basically draining by gravity. I had read about this in a couple of reviews but thought those reviewers might be exaggerating the weakness of the pump or using the machine improperly. Nope! They were right!!! I'll be looking for another brand.
Over all I like it for it's price. But the washer cord that comes with , doesn't fit on my sink to connect to washer, so that u can fill it with water. Then the drain cord isn't long enough to reach the sink to drain properly so I have to use a pot. Smh. But over all it get the job done. Aww yeah I can't fit any comforters in there either. Smh..
This little thing is awesome. Just don't overload it. We use it every other day. And when you use the spin side, make sure you press the clothes down so they are even and it won't shake. Just like the spin cycle in a regular washer, if it's off balance, it's gonna let you know it. We live in our RV and we can hide it away without any problem. I spent .25 cents at the hardware store for a little washer, put the hose through it and it hooks right up to the bathroom sink. Elevate it about 3 feet off the floor and it will drain completely. We set ours up on a cheap little plastic 3 drawer storage bin, put it between the sink and the shower and it drains right into the shower. It's faster than loading up, driving to the laundry mat, unloading, washing, drying, and then loading everything back up again and unloading when you get home. LOVE IT!!!!!!! HATE THE LAUNDRY MAT!!!!!!!!
