Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Twist & Lock Gel 13 oz. Jar

I received the Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Twist & Lock Gel free from BzzAgent, and I'm really impressed! It worked really well for my braid out. My curls were defined, soft, and had great hold without feeling crunchy. The moisture and scent are great (For reference, I have type 4A hair).

I've used this product before so I don't wanna pass up the chance to receive a free sample and share my opinion. I loooove this product and use it to moisturize my hair before I put it in a protective style. Sometimes if you use a bit too much it can cause the hair to feel heavy and cause a bit of product buildup but that's only happened to me once. I love how it makes my hair feel and the smell isn't too overbearing, I would definitely recommend.

I have naturally curly/coily hair but it tends to frizz a bit. I washed my hair with cantu moisturizing shampoo, towel dried it and then applied some of this to my hair. I used a wide tooth comb to distribute then used my fingers to apply a little more to sections and twisted them with my fingers. After my hair dried for a few moments I ended up with soft moisterized curls all over and the smell is absolutely devine. I would recommend this to anyone with 4b/4c hair and my natural besties.

*This product was sent to me for an honest review* This product unfortunately did not work for me. It did not have a whole lot of hold to it. It just did not provide hold for twist or locs. Maybe this would be a suitable product for those with looser curls but for 4c-type hair I think there are other options to make our hair look beautiful this did not meet or exceed my expectations. It just cannot provide a decent hold for any hairstyle.

I have naturally curly hair and I also wear curly wigs. When I applied the product on my natural hair it was soft and easy to manage. Then the following day I applied it to one of my wigs and it detangled it with ease and the curls were popping. It gives a great hold but doesn't leave your hair feeling crunchy and dry.
