These are really nice little pans, they fit nicely in a Z-Palette. My only complaints are they're a little too powdery, but the pigmentation makes up for that. Also, the reformulation changed the color of Wisteria- I like the old color better. Apart from that, they're pretty darn amazing- With a base/primer, they make a great staple in my collection.
I love these! What a great idea. One of my biggest issues with other small on the go palettes is that you end up with one or two colors you really like and the rest you hate. Not a problem anymore! I have most of the colors now save 4 or 5 and I have to disagree with what people are saying about them being powdery and having inadequate magnets. I find them to be a great texture and as a woman who throws her bags around and isn't gentle I have had no problems with the pans falling out of the compact.
I bought Pink Ice, Golden Glow, Wheat, Ivory and a compact for all four. Pink Ice-Pale, shimmery warm beige-pink. Golden Glow-A shimmery, bronze-toned medium gold. Wheat-If you mixed Pink Ice with Golden Glow, you'd end up with this color. Ivory-A satin-finish creamy white with the slightest yellow tone to it. These are fantastic. They're very pigmented (especially Ivory!) and make a great daytime look. All of these shadows lasted several hours without fading or creasing-even without a base or primer! I can't wait to try other colors like Sage and Aubergine. I'll happily try new colors too!
My step brother bought me the compact and the eye shadow in Wisteria, which is an amazing color for brown eyes. I loved the texture of the shadow. Very silky and smooth. It applied very smooth. The shadow has some shimmer, which i love! I tried the shadow over both a cream and liquid eyeshadow primer, and would recommend the cream primer. The size of the eyeshadow is really nice :) not to small not to big. The shadow was very pigmented as well. I loved it so much i went out today and bought moondust, ivory and pink ice. The only thing is i wish they had more colors. Thats why i only rated 4 stars. :) Over all this product is a HIT!
I picked up Ivory, Pink Ice, Truly Pink, and Dusk. Ivory can be seen surprisingly really well on your lids. However, I had a problem with Pink Ice. I guess it blended a little TOO well, because it just disappeared on my lids! I couldn't tell any difference between the color of my skin, and the color that I had applied onto my lids. My skin is fairly light, so I guess I should have went with Mocha, Moondust, or Golden Glow, any of the darker neutral colors. But the problem was, was that it just didn't show up at all!Truly pink did not do much justice either, because I couldn't really see it on my lids. [...] I would recommend using a eyeshadow PRIMER with this, because it did somewhat irritate my skin. Overall it's a good buy for the price you pay - As long as you pick the right colors!
