JA Cosmetics ELF Eyeshadow, 0.21 oz

I got this in the shade Happy Hour. When I tried to make on of my girlfriends over, I used the lightest shade as the base and good Lord, there was glitter EVERYWHERE!!! No joke, there was glitter explosion on her face, from a small amount I put on the inner corner of her eye lid. Could be used as a highlighter, if the palette was larger. As for the other shades in the pallette, still shimmery, but less so than the lightest shade.

The colors in these are so pretty and natural, I got the Golden Goddess, which I picked up from Walmart. The only com I have is you don't really see the lid color, like it kind of blends if with the base and you don't notice the pigment. I also wish the crease was a bit darker, and the line is hard to put on with a brush, I had to use my fingers to get any color.

I bought this because I really liked one of the colors in Beautiful Browns and it was cheaper than buying even a single shade of any other brand. I do not mind this palette as much as some reviewers, but I have other shadows from e.l.f. that I enjoy much more. The shadow has great pigment, that's for sure. It has a very concentrated color that is very true to the way it looks in the packaging. However, the density of the powder itself leaves you with a lot of fallout. I was blowing on my brush before application and still had a significant dusting under my eyes. Overall, I think that this is a good palette for the price. It is beneficial for people who still need some direction with a classic, dimensional look for eyeshadow. Blending this palette is key to making a look work, though.

Bought the sea escape color & was so PUMPED to use it. I've used it twice & HATE it. :( The colors don't blend well together & turned out looking all sliver & like horrible makeup from the 70's. I don't know if it was just the poor colors on this one, or the actually makeup.

I didn't know about ELF makeup products until two weeks ago. I got very curious and decided to buy a few things. The flawless eyeshadow works really good and you'll have to use the essential eyelid primer with it. If you don't use the primer, the eyeshadow doesn't stick very well on your eyelids and it can get messy. What more can you ask for! The colors were great and a great price.
