When I first got this, I was a bit confused that they call it a lip gloss. It's definitely more of a matte, and it reminds me of Clinique's chubby stick (that is way more expensive and not as good as e.l.f.) It's a great product that actually lasts on your lips! I have nothing but good things to say!

I have these in the shades Pink Umbrellas and Movie Star. I love these glosses because they're not sticky but they're not as heavy as a Lipstick can be. I love pairing them with other lip colors too. They have a slight minty smell but it's not a issue. Movie Star is best paired with something, it can look a tad patchy by itself. I still love it though. Pink Umbrellas is really pretty as an everyday lip color, it looks beautiful by itself or paired with another lip color.

I have been using this lip gloss for well over a year now i just love it. I use it by itself sometimes but the main reason i used it and decided to buy it in the first place was to substitute it for lip liner. I dont mind paying more for something that works but i kept breaking it and had finally had enough. I put this on let it set for a minute then slap on some lipstick. I always get a pick color and use red lickstick on top. Gives my lipstick shiney and my lips moisturized. Awesomeness!

For the price, this is a decent product. I purchased 3 colors and quite frankly, 2 of them provide a "glossy" sheen because they contain a reflective mica in a gold color. Not the worst ever, but I wish I'd known that prior to purchase because it's just not my cup of tea. That said, I do think it's a good product to leave in your locker or your desk at work in case of emergency, and if you're on a super-tight budget, you could do a lot worse for daily use. The pigment lasts a fair amount of time and the texture is definitely more pleasant than similar price-point products made by cheapy companies. E.L.F. really doesn't make any bad products, even though this one wasn't my favorite.

I have four colors: in the nude, summer nights, pink umbrellas, and movie star. i love all of them so much. I think the main reason people are giving this product low rates is because they are hoping to use it as a thick lipstick rather than what it is, a gloss. and for being a gloss, the color shows up a lot better than expected! i like subtle lipstick and i use the red and nude colors as lipstick because they are so perfect! they go on so smooth, but if you want the thicker color to show up you have to re-apply every once in a while. but for the price this product is amazing!
