I think this product has changed. The blister cushions that I loved so much I couldn't find in stores; so seeing the pic of the old cushion, I ordered it here. It's not the same as the blister cushions on the package. Instead it's more of a band-aid, less of a cushion. So disappointed, I miss the old design.

These types of bandages are preferable over traditional ones, working better in many ways. The only difference from the professional products many hospitals prefer and recommend is the professional products come in a greater variety of sizes. in addition to wounds and blisters, they are recommended by the National Burn Center for treatment of 1st and 2nd degree burns. I began using them on almost all wounds because unlike normal bandages these will stick and stay stuck! While more expensive then traditional bandage they are not changed frequently, so cost is around the same. Do read the instructions though as you have to take extra care to attempt to remove one without damaging the skin surrounding a burner or blister

I wore new soccer shoes and got the worst blisters of my life that were so painful. These band-aids were awesome! I just left them alone until they fell off themselves and underneath was fully healed heels. Anyone having a problem probably peeled them off way too soon.

I had a child with 'split lip' according to the daycare provider. I was told she was fine and there was no urgency. WHEN I arrived to pick her up, I found she had a lower lip that was split in half east to west. Her chin had a one inch gash from the bottom of her lip diagonally to her chin. it was starting to mend as an open gash. I had no steri-strips and the wound would be a messy ER stitch without a plastic surgeon. Band-aid to the rescue! The blister bandage was newly on the market and I had accidentally purchased it. Because of the hydro-colloidal properties I thought it would be a good fit. I lined up the wound and applied the blister bandage. I said a prayer... one week later the bandage was loosening on the edges but still firmly adhered! I trimmed the edges with a cuticle scissor and after 2 weeks there was very little attached so I removed it. I cleaned the healing wound and applied a new bandage. 2 weeks later it came off. NO SCAR!!! NO raised area as expected with ER stitches. Over 8 years later, she is gorgeous and I haven't had to consult a plastic surgeon! I use this blister bandage in the various sizes for gashes and burns and even after stitches! Never a scar! I love it!

First soccer practice after a year of not playing and forgot my under socks... Had holes in my heels when I was done. Did the usual home remedies (lots of pain) to dry the wound out but my heels were throbbing and on fire even after all the "work" of drying them out I couldn't imagine putting my soccer boots on again for practice the next day. Got these and stuck them on, instant relief. Wow. Thank you! Wish they were bigger, for the heel blisters...
