Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Medium Flow Nipple, 4pk, SCF423/47

My baby had no problem taking this bottle however at 7 months, the medium flow nipple was too slow which frustrated him. I think the medicine nipple is better suited for younger babies. Because my baby was getting angry I can't fully tell if the bottle helps against gas (less air being swallowed). I do like the shape and size of the bottle and would recommend to other moms to try out. I received this product through the weeSpring Parent Panel to test in exchange for my honest opinion. I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. The Phillips Avent anti colic bottle is a good choice for a bigger bottle. My daughter, who is 5 months old, is always gassy, and this bottle did not seem to help. The choices of nipple sizes is great. The size 3 medium flow seems to work best for her at this time! Overall, good bottle and design, she took to it just as she does her medela bottles/nipples. Thanks weeSpring!

I received the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle MEDIUM FLOW, 4pk to test as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. My 6-month-old son preferred the medium flow nipples, as opposed to the ones that came on the bottle, and he took to them right away without issue. It is very helpful to have flow choices with the nipples so I don't have to purchase entirely new bottles as my son grows, and for now I think the medium flow was perfect, and we can move into the faster flowing nipples as he gets older. The other bottles he is used to have a wider nipple base (the portion under the nipple itself that is inserted into the mouth, where his lips rest when he is feeding), and he did have some trouble with "gapping" at the base and formula dribbling out of his mouth. It didn't seem to bother him (or he didn't even notice), but it made for more clean up and more stopping in the middle of feedings to wipe his mouth. I did notice that he didn't burp as much after feeding with the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottles, and when he did spit up it was less and much later (maybe 20-30 minutes after feeding, as opposed to within 5 minutes of finishing a bottle). All in all, I believe HE was more comfortable, due to less burping and less spit up, so I'll take the additional clean up any day if he's happier. I continue to use these bottles and recommend them highly, especially if you have a particularly gassy baby.

As my baby is getting older, and I am a new mom, I did not think about the fact that I had to change the flow the the nipple as he grew. I received the nipples at just the right time from weeSpring Parent Panel. They are easily washable and just the right amount of flow for him since we also mix cereal in his bottle for more fullness. I would recommend these to all moms out there.

I received these nipples from weespring Parent panel and couldn’t be happier with them! We have been pretty loyal users of the Avent anti colic brand, only using one other brand over the past year. These were the next step up and just as quality as there newborn and flow 1 nipples. Now that we have upgraded the flow my little one doesn’t get as frustrated over a feed. Will continue to be a loyal avent user!
