Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle, Clear, 4oz, 2pk, SCF010/27

I love this kind of bottle because my baby is colicky and I always make sure he will be less colicky with drinking milk andin his daily routine. Im so glad I have this bottle because it helps us a lot for sure while he is drinking theres less chances of having it than the other bottles thats not for colicky babies.

I was given this Phillips Avent bottle from the weeSpring Parent Panel - and it works wonders. My 3mo son is primarily breast fed, but there are moments - like late at night, where a bottle is needed. We had concerns about introducing a bottle to our son, but with the Phillips Event Nipple, we were able to get him to take the bottle without issue. Dads, beware, having this nipple and bottles mean you can surely get up for middle of the night feedings!! Im very grateful we don't have to do a "bottle search" to see which type our son will like. He took right to the Phillips brand right away and it has surely been a great help for when momma runs to the store, or I am trying to let her get some sleep at night. Phillips to the rescue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying lots of bottles with my twin boys, and wanted something that didn't make them gassy and didn't have a ton of parts to clean (since we have twice as many bottles to use and clean!) I tried many popular, name brand bottles and while one of my boys took almost everything we tried, my other one was much pickier and seemed to get gassy and fussy after most bottle feedings. I received this product as part of the wee spring parent panel and am so grateful as it is now our favorite bottle and nipple to use for both of my twins. Pros: the bottle has minimal parts - only 4 (including the cap) which makes it easy to clean and assemble quickly - super important for twins! The natural nipple seems to mimic breastfeeding which is important to me as an exclusively breastfeeding mom. I want (and need!) my babies to take bottles, but don't want them to refuse the breast in favor of a bottle. This nipple seems to do the trick, and the anti-colic valve seems to really work since neither of my boys seem to have issues after eating. The shape is easy for us to hold while feeding and I like that the wider nipple is more similar to mom's. Cons: the small, 4 oz bottle is easy to hold for feedings, but is pretty short and stubby - making it hard to get out of our bottle warmer without pulling it out by the nipple. The bottle parts also get very warm when in the warmer - the milk doesn't - just the bottle parts. The thing that I really dislike about the bottle, however, is the cap. It is SO HARD to get off of the bottle. There is a really strong seal / suction, which is a good thing so as not to leak, but I hate pulling the lid off and struggle each time. There is one indent on the cap that I imagine is supposed to help, but maybe two would be better to allow leverage to take off the cap. This is a big design flaw, in my opinion, since struggling to open a bottle shouldn't be the thing that gets in between a hungry, crying baby and their meal. Overall, I am really happy with the natural flow nipple on the bottle and will be purchasing more of the larger size bottle for my boys to use when they start daycare. And while there are a few design flaws that could make the bottles easier and more pleasant for parents to use, the most important part is that the bottle anti-colic nipple work well without lots of extra parts to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me first start off by saying that I really wanted to love this bottle! I had read so many positive reviews before trying it. The truth is that I like the bottle a lot but it is not perfect in my opinion. My son is three months old and has breastfed and bottle fed since birth. So far I have tried four different brands of bottles.There are several things that I love about this bottle. The shape and size of the bottle is great! Its comfortable for me to hold on to and my LO loves to hold it as well. The shape and texture of the nipple is awesome as well! It is the most similar feeling to a breast out of all of the ones I have tried. My son easily latches on to the nipple. Another thing that I love is that if the bottle falls over no milk leaks out! Nobody is crying over spilled breast milk here! This bottle is very easy to assemble and clean as well. I work full time so I really love how little time it takes to clean this. The anti-colic vent on this bottle seems to work pretty well, he never seems overly gassy after eating. Now on to what is not so great about it. The flow is too fast for my baby. I was very surprised to find this given that the nipple the bottle came with is made for newborns and my son was already a couple months old when we first tried it. I try to always use the pace feeding method of bottle feeding but even still I found I have to keep pulling the nipple away so that he does not choke on or spit out milk. After using the bottle a few times I learned how to control the flow slightly better however I am a working mom so I am not always the one giving him a bottle. I want to make it as easy as possible for the family that watches him and because of how careful I have to be while using this bottle I tend to send him to daycare with different bottles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is exclusively breast fed except the occasional wedding and when dad or big sister wants to feed him. Ive tried many types of bottles and he wanted nothing to do with them. When my new avent bottles arrived my husband was at work. I was so anxious to try them. As soon as i took them out of the packaging i was happy to see that their weren't a tun of small pieces, they were so easy to take apart for cleaning. I warmed up a bag of breast milk as soon as the bottle was sanitized. To my surprise as soon as i poped it in his mouth he latched! He latched a bottle I gave him! I am still in utter disbelief. He drank the whole thing and wanted more. I couldn't believe it, my boy drank it like a champ. After burping i noticed he had a very small burp not a big one like usual. The 4oz bottle fits perfect in my 3 year old daughters hand as well as my husband amd mine so comfortably.
