Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Glass Food Storage Container 4 cup (2856004)

I loved my RM storage containers until I found I cannot purchase replacement lids! I have been switching over to all glass storage and thought these were great. Now they are off my approved list - no recommendations from me. What are you people thinking in this environmentally conscious era?

The concept is wonderful but the lids that originally came on them the seals don't stick..wanted to replace with the newer lids and they don't sell them. Unless they start selling lids separately I dont plan on buying any more rubbermaid products as it becomes useless without the lid.

I have bought a couple sets over the years. Does great job in microwave and in cold. Easy to store. However, I need more lids as they've been lost or ruined and there are no replacements. I've read other reviews all with a similar complaint . Please provide replacement lids as soon as possible and add me to the list so I know when they're available . Perfect otherwise.

I bought a variety of these 2 years ago and been very pleased. The bowl sizes store and fit well in fridge but the lids are now worn down and some are unusable. So disappointed to find I can't get replacement lids. I've resorted to using plastic wrap over the bowls, so as not to waste perfectly good glass bowls. Rubbermaid Brand Team: you've received multiple requests from your customers. We want to use your product and recommend you to our friends. Are you listening? Why are you denying this request?!

We received a set of Rubbermaid glass containers along with Pyrex. Like other posters have said, due to the way the lid goes on you lose a lot of space in the actual glass dish reducing how much you can put in. I have had issues with thinking that the lid is on only to find out it's not as well as have learned that i can not use it to store any soups or stews as it will leak (maybe the lid wasn't on when I thought). When the lid IS on the right way I struggle to get it off and am worried I'm going to spill all of the contents when it pops off. There have been several times I find myself tugging and pulling at the corners trying to break the seal to get the lid off. They're nice looking, it's nice that the lids connect and they stack well, actual functionality they're not worth the money.
