Bioderma Atoderm Ultra Nourishing Anti Irritation Cleansing Oil 200ml 6.7oz

I have been using this shower oil for over a year now and I can't say enough good things about it. I saw a video of someone touting shower oil cleansers and did some research. This product is affordable for what you get. It is non-greasy, leave you feeling clean and softened. One aspect that I loved most is that the company that originally formulated their products still retains ownership. That other friench product has been bought by a much larger investment firm that owns all the other cosmetic products. This company is home grown and has stayed that way. My skin is very hydrated, non-greasy, clean and softer because of this product. I tell anyone who will listen about Bioderma.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this was the first time I have ever used Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil or something like it I believe. I enjoy getting a free sample of it to review because I wasn't really sure what I was getting. The only problem I had was I was unsure how to use it at first. I wasnt sure if it was a body oil, face oil ect. After I figured that out I really liked it. It left my skin feeling clean and soft but not oily. It has a very light scent that I really enjoyed. It's not overwhelming and it's just a nice clean scent. I have very dry skin with this weather change and my facial skin is always sensitive. I had no bad reaction s with this. It was gentle enough for my face and body.

Using it in the shower, as a final step then rinsing, makes it so easy to use. It goes on silky smooth, has a pleasant light (almost floral) scent which I really like, and rinses quickly & easily, leaving the scent & soft skin behind. Especially during the dry winter months in the NE US, my skin demands moisture. Though winter hasn't yet begun, I'm thinking I'll be able to ward off the painful 'after shower, before moisturizer' minutes with this gem of a product. I've been using it for the past couple weeks & am happy with it & enjoying the benefits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil daily in the shower and felt an immediate softness to my skin. I also notice the feeling of a protective layer that lasted most of the day. I did have some difficulty opening and squeezing out the right amount of cleansing oil in the shower with wet arthritic hands, the pump would be easier. I usually use a natural bar soap so I was hoping for a noticeable improvement with using the oil over a period of time and was disappointed that did not happen. I found the Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil comparable to my natural bar soap. Overall it is a great cleansing oil and I would use it if I did not have my bar soap.

I like how easy it is to use, and how no additional steps are required to see results instantly. I used it mostly as a shower gel, but didn't try to lather it. I also found it useful as a shaving gel (note: still don't lather for this purpose), and I even found it was useful as a facewash as well. I'm amazed at how hydrated It leaves me feeling for days at a time after use. Even my elbows and knees still feel hydrated! I would definitely purchase again, and I plan to recommend it to all my family and friends!
