Aussie Stay True Dry Shampoo for Colored Hair, 4.9 oz

The Aussie Clean Color Protect Dry Shampoo works okay. Im a new mom so anything that helps me extend how often I have to shampoo is a godsend. I got maybe one more extra day by using this product. My hair does look better if I leave it down but when I pulled it back it looked greasier than before. Maybe its just not the right formula for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is not a product I would purchase again unless it came out with a version for individuals with dark hair. Even the lightest amount of product visibly shows a gray cast in my hair and brushing it away only causes my hair to look more oily than when I began. Its not a bad product when it comes to its ability to perform but its definitely not the best Ive had either. I would compare it to the brand Not Your Mothers. I received this product in a voxbox to review. The can looked cute and I was intrigued to try this right away based on the scent. I liked the scent and that it didnt leave a white residue on my darker hair and it still left my hair looking clean and shiny. My only problem with this dry shampoo was that I didnt feel like it worked as well as others that I use. I felt like I needed to reapply it more often and didnt get as many days in between washes. I received this product free for testing. It is very strongly fragranced. The floral aspect of it like a strong perfume and does not diminish overtime.
