Philips RQ12 SensoTouch 3D - Shaving head - for shaver

This new head is - quite frankly - not just a waste of time, it would, here in New Zealand, not pass the Consumer Guarantees Act. To have a seriously blunt system after about 6 months of shaving is really not good enough. It is difficult to clean (yes I do clean it regularly!) and not very easy to assemble, after cleaning. I'm sorry, but Philips: you have really dropped the ball here

Product is much noisier than I would expect--I have older Phillips product and it is half as loud as the new one--also old product gave me an extra set of blades at purchase.

I was still using a shaving head (RQ12) which had the easy to use flip up cutters which made cleaning much more convenient than the than the new replacement head (RQ12/62). The new head is more cheaply made yet cost considerably more than the original.

Does not perform as well as original head nor as well after cleaning.Rings on heads difficult to handle.

The RQ12/52 is probably the best electric shaving head system out on the market & I Have tried all brands. Remington, Panasonic, Braun & Wahl. This shaving head is comfortable, quick(once over the face area) and easy to clean. I also shave my head & it works great there too. I recommend this shaving system to anyone. Of course a person would have to buy the shaver itself which is a fairly large amount to spend on an electric razor but it will probably last a very long time. My last Norelco shaver lasted me 26 years and I passed it on to my nephew who has been using it for 2 years now himself after I purchased the Norelco 8800(1290x/40. Norelco recommends purchasing a new shaver head every year but mine lasted 2 years with extra heavy work. That is shaving my face every day and shaving my head every other day. And of course hair on ones head is thicker & tougher than on ones face. I am very pleased with my shaver replacement head & recommend anyone with an 8800 shaver to purchase their replacement head with Walmart because they are cheaper then anywhere else on the market. I apologize for such a long review but it was the only way I could explain the effectiveness of this shaving head. Thank you Walmart for having the foresight to have this in your inventory.
