Garmin nvi 260W - GPS navigator - automotive 4.3 in widescreen

This product is a great value. It is most helpful for me in city traffic. No more wrong turns, hunting for street signs and wondering which lane I need to be in for the next turn. It takes longer than expected to locate satellites so power up several minutes before you need it. The find an attraction or restaraunt features are great. I use them when traveling highways. For long highway trips I recommend you consult a map prior to the trip. Sometimes the route the Garmin proposes is not the best route.

We recently purchased the Garmin nuvi 260W GPS Navigation System with 4.3" Touch Screen. This is a great buy and the perfect GPS system. It is very easy to use and navigate for everyone even the novice user. I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone. A must have product even if you don't travel a lot.

Several members of my family have this item and I have listened to their review's and finally tired of getting lost looking for a location and purchased one after much research. This is a very good product and worth the money. Get lost one time and it pays for itself

It is really good on the main interstates and highways, but it needs to be a bit faster in town. You are already past the intersection as it is telling you to turn, and if it is not in city where it is busy that is not a problem, but if it is busy and congested it can be. Otherwise it is an awesome invention.

The product meets most of my expectations. The one difficulty I have is the instruction manual. I do not believe it answered the few questions I had, nor does the Garmin Web site. The response I received from Gramin did not answer my question but, stated that they will forward my concern to the appropriate department. Maybe this rating is a little to high but their were no 1/2 stars.
