Nice and compact, connects well to 3 or 4G, easy to link to iPads, phones. Needed a call to customer service but solved the issue and signed me up for a data plan. Battery goes down too quickly c 4,hours, but can be used whilst charging either mains or in car

We wanted internet access for our weekend home without being tied to a contract, and this device is working perfect for that. I can pick a plan for just one day or a month, depending on our length of stay at the home. Only 3g coverage is available in our area (Redmond, OR), but the internet speed is pretty good. We were getting 3 bars of coverage, so I docked this device to a Wilson Electronics "Sleek" cellular phone booster, and I get a continuous 5 bars of coverage. I could not be happier!

My daughter is homeschooled and we need the internet. However where we live there isnt a whole lot to choose from in internet service. I had tried the Virgin USB stick and it worked pretty good so we thought this would give us more use for our home and more than one thing could be used at a time. We DO NOT get the full 4GB program because of where we live though. I am hoping that Virgin will expand the area and we will get the G's we need. It works great as it is though even without the full 4 gb's and is faster than we thought it would be. The Best thing thought is if you need any sort of Help with it Virgin is just a phone call away and everyone is very helpful setting us up and helping us to pay or top up.

I got this as an upgrade to my current Virgin Mobile 3g hotspot device. It works fine where I live, but I was lured by promises of 4g bandwidth in my area. I got it home, charged it, then went to turn it on and follow the instructions to swap my account to it. It never got enough signal to finish the online registration part. I returned it to the Walmart where I had had it shipped and picked up a few days beforehand. May you have better luck than I did. I since bought a device from FreedomPop and it serves my 3g needs at $15/mo cheaper than the least-expensive Virgin Mobile plan. That offer came just a few days after I returned this one.

It was understood when I ordered this product that it came with a $20 1G card...but there was no card included so I had to purchase time on-line. Other than that it seems to work as described...however coverage is somewhat limited in my part of Texas. I understand it to be on the Sprint network and most of my area is AT&T.
