TIKI Brand Island King Bundle - 2 66-inch Island King Large Flame Torch + 100 oz. BiteFighter Torch Fuel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Large Flame Tiki Torch. This torch kit comes with a pole and lid. Assembly was really easy and only took a few minutes. I removed the lid which hangs on a chain. The lid can be used to prevent water from entering the reservoir as well as used to help put out the flame. Once the lid is removed you can twist the top to expose the opening to the oil reservoir, I poured a small amount of oil onto the wick and filled the reservoir. I used a fireplace lighter to light the wick on fire. It has a nice size flame and puts off a smoke trail but it's not bad. It has a nice citronella fragrance. The tiki torch not only keeps the mosquitos away but also creates the perfect outdoor vibe for my patio at night.

No more lost flame snuffers! It also helps prevent rain water from saturating the wick or getting into the fuel. The design of this torch is really beautiful and will match any decor. I enjoyed the ambiance of having a larger flame. The larger flame should also deter more of those pesky mosquitoes when used with Bugbiter torch fuel.

Assembly was quick and easy because you only screw four poles together before screwing the torch onto the top pole. You twist the top to reveal a small hole where you pour the fluid. Once filled, twist the top again and then light the wick. I admit that I was skeptical about this torch staying lit in the wind, but my skepticism was misplaced. The touch did indeed stay lit until we covered it with the attached lid. I'm 5'1” and the torch is a bit taller than me. This torch will become a regular part of our outdoor space when barbecuing or entertaining guests.
