I bought this saw after hurricane milton after a tree fell on my house. The saw starts within three pulls every time. I also bought the four foot extension. It is heavy but it does an excellent job. The chain cuts through a twelve inch tree easily. Very impressed. I've cut up a complete sweet gum tree. Love this saw.

Great pole saw . Got tired of my Stihl drive shafts breaking so figured I would try the echo. So far so good

We use stihl and husky saws at work exclusively. In particular our pole saws at work get a lot of use. The pole saws at work are all stihl. When I was in the market for a pole saw I definitely knew I didn't want a stihl. They are mostly plastic and come with really low profile chains. This pole saw blows our stihls at work out of the water!!! Way heavier duty built hands down! Chain is way better and stays sharp for along time. I was so happy with this pole saw I just purchased a 20” echo chainsaw and think I won't be disappointed at all with it. Buy echo you won't be disappointed!
