Hi Run SU05 20X10.00-8 B Lawn & Garden Tire

The tires dimensions is not the same as the Carlisle tire it was replacing. The HI RUN from Walmart was label correctly but the tire was 2 inches narrower in tread width. The Walmart tire appears to only be 8 inches in tread width even though it is marked as 10 inches in tread width. The diameter and rim fitment was correct. It was a good thing I replaced both rear tires on my lawn tractor or they would not have matched. If I knew of the discrepancy ahead of time I would not have ordered these tires.

Nice looking tires, and I'm sure they are very good quality, however if you are currently using Carlisle Tires of the same size, and are using tire chains on those Carlisle tires, like I was, your chains will be too loose to use on these, because this tire isn't quite as wide as the Carlisle, even though is is sold as a 20x10x8. I use chains where I live because, I cut firewood, and need to pull trailers in the woods where traction isn't as good as on the lawn. There are probably chains for sale that fit this tire, but I don't really want to buy more chains, so I will get another set of Carlisle tires, and give these to my neighbor. But if you will use these just to mow grass with, buy them.

I ordered two of these for my Cub LTX 1046. They went on the rims easy and beaded up with no issue. I had expected problems with beading after some issues I had had in the past, but these tires were stiff and with no distortion like some buyers have experienced. I have not needed to cut the grass yet, but I expect them to perform great. Hoping for more grip than my old tires. Price was right and shipping with Fedex was quick.

They are a perfect replacement for the 17 year old tires that came on my Craftsman lawn tractor. Very pleased with the looks and value. The old tires had a lot of age cracks and would only hold air for a couple of hours before going flat. Hardest part of replacing was getting old wheels off. They had never been removed before. One came off easily right away but the other needed about a week of spaying some liquid wrench penetrating spray every day and finally just plain old tugging for about 20 minutes. Came close to giving up but well worth the effort.
