Mainstays Thick Double Soft White Bath Mat, 17" x 36"

I received this item free in exchange for my review. When you get offers for free items to review, the descriptions aren't very detailed and I wasn't aware this mat would have suction cups on the bottom. I guess that's an extra measure of safety so it can't move around in the tub. The instructions also state to remove and hang the mat after every use. I was expecting something I could leave in the tub and only need to remove occasionally to clean. It is a very soft, comfortable mat and feels great underfoot. My only complaint, and the reason I deducted one star, is that it doesn't drain quickly enough so when I'm done showering, my feet are surrounded by soap suds. Maybe if I had a higher flow showerhead, that wouldn't happen.

I liked the look of this bath mat, but it was kind of difficult to tell, online, exactly what the material and construction of it. I am so glad I went with this mat! It is so incredibly comfortable, even though it has a good number of suction cups lining the underside, so it stays in place well. My last bath mat also had lots of suction cups, however, it did not have this type of thick cushioned surface, and standing on it would immediately cause discomfort (and eventually all-out pain!). This particular bath mat is truly double layered cushioning, and I can't even tell when I am stepping directly on the suction cups. The only issue I've come across with it is the length; and that's my own fault, since I didn't pay attention to the measurements before choosing it. I believe it would be the ideal size for a standard bath tub (my tub has a seat on both ends). However, it really isn't a big deal; it just doesn't lay completely flat. I'm still thrilled with it, all the same!

I absolutely love this bath mat. It is a nice thick mat. And it is soft on my feet. When you put it in the bath tub you need to get the tub wet so the suction cups will adhere to the tub Once they do they are stuck.I have arthritis and my mobility is not great. I fall easily. But this mat makes it easier for me to get in and out of the tub without fear of slipping and falling. Once you are done just rinse and hang it on the side of the tub. I highly recommend this bath mat. As you can see in my picture it covers the full length of the bottom of the tub.

This soft bath mat is longer than I expected but it works well in my garden tub. It fits the area much better than some other mats that I've used. It also doesn't slip around the tub while I'm taking a shower. It's great for the times I decide to soak in a hot bath because I'm not sitting on the hard tub, this makes my bath much more enjoyable and comfortable. I like that it's easy to clean because I can just throw it in the washer and let it do all the work. It has two layers and plenty of little suction cups to keep it anchored to the tub so you don't slip and fall.

Love this bath mat. Soft and cushiony. Fits the tub perfectly. I like how it is machine washable. Great for helping to prevent slipping in shower or tub. We own a small shower size one also which we take with us went we travel to use in hotel showers. I recommend this mat. After you wash it you just let it air dry or you can use it again immediately.
