palmOne Tungsten E2

I wanted to find a gift for my husband that is technology-easy for him yet affordable. My husband loves it...and can operate it without the help of our children! :)

I have not been able to use this product because it is not compatible with a 64 bit OS...there is nothing I can do...I will have to return it however, it is a requirement for school so this has put me in a bind.

Be warned! this will not load an SD card larger than 1GB. that's my only complaint. This thing is fast and reliable. still have a wide variety of programs available for these things. music playback quality is good. photo's look excellent. I've been using palm OS for about five years now so there's nothing that's really changed through the ages.

This is my first PDA purchase and I love it. I mainly purchased it as a "Drug Reference" as I am a health care professional, rather than pulling out a drug book from the medication room. I carry it in my cargo pocket and pull it out to reference drugs. It is easy to use, navigate and it looks sleek. It is super fast. My only con is that it is a bit slow when I open files (e.g. Music, pictures) from my inserted memory card. Another con is that the speaker is not load enough even when maxed out. Overall I would buy another one. I am still attempting to figure out bluetooth and wireless internet access (I always get an error message).

The product software/CD was defective and the Palm help center stated that they could not send me a knew CD because they were out of the CDs and that they would never get any new CDs because there are "newer" PDAs available now. Their only suggestion was to return the product and get another one with the hopes that the software/CD was not defective. Now, I will go get another PDA that is NOT made by Palm.
