[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper Wet Pad Refill Lavendar Vanilla & Comfort were easy to apply to the Swiffer pad base. The smell is ok, not to overpowering, just enough for a nice scent. These are perfect for spot cleaning because the pad is not wet enough to clean larger areas. The pad itself is drippy when you first take it out of the package leaving the impression that it holds a lot of cleaning solution. But it does dry out quickly.

I had used Swiffer products in the past to varying results. While the scent of the Lavendar Vanilla as very nice and subtle, it did not last long. I also found myself using quite a few of the cleaning pads to clean my hardwood floor. Works great for a quick clean-up, but would have to use a lot of product if this replaced weekly cleaning. I used the Swiffer to clean up before a party I was hosting last weekend. For fresh messes, I would rate this a 5 out of 5. It is definitely handy to have around for newly spilled food & drink. It also does a great job with dust. However, for messes that you couldn't get to for a few days... it wasn't the best. If you have to scrub or do a "deep clean", the handle feels like it's going to break. My back hurt after using it because I felt like I had to bend over so far to get some stains up. Maybe it was user error, but every time I tried to use the "scrubber", the mop head would flip because of the unbalanced weight. Also, it doesn't work so well on dirty grout on tile floors. I think one of the best things about this product is the convenience factor. This is great for light cleaning & maintenance. The entire system is pretty easy to handle, you just hook the cleansing pads onto swiffer & mop like you normally would. I will say that I absolutely love the scent of the Lavender Vanilla. It actually scented my home for the whole day giving it a warm relaxing aroma. There's also a scrubber on the edge of the pads for any small stains you have but I found the scrubber was a little difficult to situate- I did have to somewhat align the actual wet pad with my hand to get the scrubber on the area I needed it to. Although I plan to repurchase the wet pad refill, I wouldn't replace it w/ my usual mop & bucket cleaning. I find this personally worked best for in-between maintenance simply because, I found that I needed to change the swiffer pad multiple times while mopping my kitchen. I found this especially true during snow storms & finding salt residue on my floors. It made no sense to keep a dirty pad on the swiffer to keep mopping (I mean you're just pushing a dirty pad across the whole floor) so after changing it multiple times, It just feels like I'd get a better clean using my traditional mop & bucket. My husband and I recently used the Swiffer Sweeper wet pad refill in Lavender Vanilla & Comfort and we loved it! Here's why: - The pads do what they say they'll do - they trap dirt in such a way that you don't have to continue to sweep over the same area multiple times - it really just requires one strong (and swift) sweep and voila - cleanliness all over your floors. - At no point was I concerned that my hard-wood floors were going to be damaged since these pads are non-abrasive. It's important for us to use products that will not damage our 88-year old original hardwood flooring. - The lavender smell: The sweet lavender smell makes you sort of enjoy the fact that you're cleaning your floors - funny huh? It's incredibly rewarding when your home looks and smells clean, and boy oh boy is it ever comforting. That's like multiple check marks on the weekend to-do list. What would make me even more happy? If there was a more sustainable way that the product could be used in the future. For example, pads that can be washed and reused or something of that nature.
