Ziploc All Purpose Marinade Bags, 1/2 Gallon, 24 ct

These are OK, but are not the FREEZER 1/2 gallon bags that I expected. My mistake. I also had to wait a very long time to get them. Contacted the company after several weeks and then they arrived quickly. Ordered 8 boxes and most were damaged in some way.

I am writing this review in exchange for samples that I've received. Love the easy open tab: so much easier for anyone to open/close the bag. Can always trust the Ziploc quality and reliability. Was able to marinade my items in this new format and not worry about leakage.

This ziploc is great and so convenient to use. I love this ziploc as it can be used for many purposes. I store all my cut vegetables, fruits in this zipoc and keep in the refrigerator. It's used for keeping chicken/meat marinated food in the freezer which helps to marinate nicely. The main comfort is no mess as it's tightly closed. So much benefit for trip and get any snacks to office or for tour. Mainly we can use for kids snacks as well. It keeps all the food so fresh and air tight. It's worth in buying. I received this product for free in return for my unbiased review. I love Ziploc bags mostly because they serve so many purposes! Obviously used for food storage they work really well when I buy meat/fish in bulk. I cut the items into desired dinner service portions and put them in the bags to freeze. One of the best things about the ziplocs vs other brands i have used is the closure really does lock in and i never have to worry about air in or odors out after a bag is sealed. I also use them for sous vide cooking, they hold up really well even after hours of being in hot water. I have these bags at my house in various sizes for so many things. I put my kids legos in the bigger bags and portion our snacks for them as they go off the school for the day in the smaller bags. They also work great when traveling to put liquid bottles for TSA to check. I always keep a few sizes in stock for different purposes! This new style is really useful for me as its so much easier now to marinate right in the bag without worry the marinate won't get to the entirety of the meats. The flat bottom also make them good for storage of things like tarts and piece of cake/pie!

The bags are thick and very heavy duty. They won't leak nor open accidentally. If you're looking to buy a storage bag, this is the one to go with.
