It is slow to heat up. The inside plastic is stiff and hard to position until it gets hot. Lightweight cover will not stay in place so hot plastic ends up on sensitive skin. Basically, cover is inadequate.
Love this heating pad. Use it all the time during dialysis, and the fact that it stays turned on makes the entire experience so much better. Was always having to reset the pad I used to use which always turned off after 15 minutes. Very difficult maneuvering with needles hooked up to my arm.
I bought this for my wife who desperately wanted a heating pad that got hot and didn't have an automatic shutoff to comfort her during her most uncomfortable time of the month. She is ecstatic with this heating pad and it is of excellent quality.
I have been using these heating pads 24 hours daily for over a month and they have held up well. I grow tomato plants for a fundraiser in my basement in Ohio and they need warmth! these where inexpensive and worked like a charm!!
This heating pad wads up under the cover Terrible quality; no auto shutoff Would not purchase again! WIsh I could return!!
