I bought this product in May 2024 and it quit working in September 2024. High light flashes and no heat from the pad. Sunbeam replaced the pad and the replacement quit working in January 2025. Same issues with flashing light. I feel that the pad is of poor quality.
I bought this heating pad and many others this model is the best one you can buy especially if you want high heat a lot of pads get warm this gets hot but not in a dangerous way. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for pain relief by heat, great for bad backs or just regular aches and pains, muscle cramps, pulls etc.
I have used this Sunbeam Xpress heating pad, the size is great but the short lifespan is not getting a good review. After reading the reviews here, clearly this is a ongoing problem. My orioginal purchase is now on its second replacment as they appear to only funcion for 1 year then you get the undesired flashing F... and no the suggested reset process does not fix the issue. Clearly the manufacturing process needs to be looked into as the failure rate here seems unusualy high.
Just bought this model today and plugged it in tonight and received the flashing F instantly. Unplugged and plugged it back in and it started working. Hoping this isn't a sign of an issue going forward! It heated very quickly after the reset and is very soft and comfy.
I bought this nearly 3 years ago. I love so much about it: extra large size, soft cover, 6 heat levels, auto shut off. At the 1 year mark the deadly F flashed and nothing fixed it. Called Sunbeam and they replaced it under the 5 year warranty. At the 1 year mark of the new one, it too died. I called and it was replaced. Here comes another year. I believe that my original 5 year warranty covers the 2 replacements. At this rate I may need 3 more replacements. I thought I was the only one to have this problem. Another improvement would be a plug into the pad with grippers on each side to hold it tightly on.
