I wanted the carpenter pant for the hammer loop and leg pockets, which fit my flip cell phone perfectly. The negative is, one of the pairs has a seam that is roughly finished but it looks like it will be strong, just looks frayed and tattered, not worth returning since I will only use them for work activities.

I've bought wrangler carpenter jeans for many years now and love them. These khaki version have a more elasticity material which causes the waist to be looser. This then causes the waist to sit lower or these have a slightly lower cut on the waist and makes it feel like they are falling off. Overall I like them but having an incorrect fit does cause problems as I don't like wearing belts as I already have a tool belt I wear.
