A pretty easy set up is nice. Having a system that doesn't REQUIRE any internet service, or even a TRADITIONAL landline is nicer. Note to all customers...Keep your Red card! It contains your serial number. You use it once to set up, but TRUST that you'll need that same number later for any customer service issues that may come. I'll close by saying that for the Price, of the produce AND the service per month, you'll save off of any traditional phone plans. And that goes double for anyone on any kind of cable bundle or packages. #iHolla
Bought this item for my brother, who has four(4) in-house phones. I have been a Straight Talk customer for a number of years and I highly recommend their service to anyone that wants to save on their monthly in-house phone bill. Their service is great and my monthly bill is around $16.00. The only thing I've had to replace was the rechargeable battery in my unit, which is also available at Walmart. Told my brother about the service and told him I'd like him to try it, then went to Walmart on-line and saw a reconditioned unit for purchase. The unit came with a airtime card for one month, which is all you needed to get the service up and running. He is now a Straight Talk customer and he loves it. Hard to believe, but now my house and cell phone bills per month are less that what, at one time, I was paying for just the house service. Love Straight Talk....
The item came is as expected. The unit was wrapped in plastic and was easy to set up after activation. Basically it's plug and play. The unit also had a battery backup power in case or power outages. I would recommend this service and the $15/MO unlimited domestic calls with free 611 was great.
So far this has turned out to be an excellent product. It was easy to set up and has been working great since. During a recent power outage, the phone continued to work (battery backup) and I was able to report the power outage to the power company. I would recommend this product.
Bought this on website with ship-to-store option. Came in 3 days early, so there was the first plus. Unboxed it and phoned the toll-free number and was set up in ten minutes with the included first month's service, a fifteen dollar value. Clear calls both ways so far, it's set in a window so it has a 'view' of the outside world and seems like a happy little camper thus far. Big thumbs-up to Wallyworld AND Huawei for making this product available!
