This is a really neat toy. We gave this to our 12 yr old grandson. He was excited. It seems to be made sturdy. Its very appealing to the eye also. He has played with it on our driveway that is paved and the toy preforms very well. It gets up to a good speed. We really like that it has the side pieces to hold the motorcycle up as you drive it. Stabilizer bars. He took them off to try it that way and it wouldnt hold itself up right to play with. It seems pretty sturdy as he has ran it iff into the grass and it caused no harm to the toy. The batteries have lasted quite some time in it also. We thought that would be the down fall of the toy but so far has not been a major issue. He has let his 6 year old brother try it out and he is able to control it also. I would recommend this toy. The boys have had many hours playing with this and is still holding up well
I got this for my 6-year-old son and he really liked the bike. The bike is good size and is well built. It has LED lights that turn on when the bike is moving. The bike has support on both sides, so it doesn't fall. Uses AA batteries and a set was included in the box. This has a different kind of remote and took some time for my son to get used to but once he got it, he had a lot of fun. The bike is so fast that if you don't have enough open space, it will keep bumping into walls but good thing is that this bike is built well and can withstand crashes. Overall a very good toy for kids.
My ten year old nephew absolutely loved this Motorsport remote control toy, it was easy set up using only couple batteries. The guy on the motorcycle glide along and picks up speed pretty well. The remote was easy to figure out and he enjoyed playing outside. We love the color is red which is bold and easy to find when you are racing him around.
We tested it with our 5 & 6 year old. They lost interest because it falls over, doesn't go fast, because it falls over they couldn't let it go very far. All our testing and play time was with fresh name brand batteries. Requires 5 AA batteries & 2 AAA for remote. They recommend alkaline. Has working lights. Does not go very fast, states it's should go as fast as 3.7mph. Control range is 82ft. Weighs about 4 lbs. states it's for ages 6+. Dimensions are about 12in long, 8in high & 5in wide, the width cover from steering to steering wheel. We didn't take it that far because it kept falling over within 20 ft & the kids didn't want to go chase it constantly much further. Falls over a lot. You can reverse or turn left/right. The tires are supposed to have grip but didn't really help. When we first opened it I pushed on the tires and they'd go almost flat, not sure if this is how they should be or bad tires. You will only get 1.5 possibly 2 hours play time before having to replace the alkaline batteries. When not using it does sit upright with built in kick stands. Over all it's not worth $25 not would I ever purchase this item. Received this item for my honest and fair review.
My kids love this toy! My child has been asking for an RC vehicle for awhile, so we were thrilled when the opportunity came up to try this and share our feedback. It is Ducati replica- and "the really good one!"- according to my husband. It comes in a sturdy box and requires sharp scissors or knife to remove the zip ties in the back. Batteries are NOT included so make sure to purchase them (5AA for vehicle and 2AAA for remote) beforehand if giving as a gift. I did not read it initially, but the box says this RC motorcycle has working headlights and suspension, which is really neat! My kids loved that added touch. There is even a little sticker on the front showing the gauges. The plastic of the bike feels solid and much more durable that some of the plastics I've seen used in RC vehicles. I was wondering how the motorcycle would stand up but it has two braces on either side of the bike that act almost like training wheels to keep it up. The bike also has an on/off switch which is a really great feature as you so NOT want to waste the 7 total batteries this requires. The remote is pretty easy to get the hang of. The wheel turns it left and right, and the trigger makes it go in forward and reverse. There is another button on the controller but I have yet to figure out what that is. I tested this bike on pavement, hardwood floors, and even carpet and although on carpet it was a bit slow it still worked. It is fast! The bike took a LOT of abuse from my kids who kept slamming it into walls but the bike survived it just fine. They have had a lot of fun playing with it, and even my husband took it for a spin. As far as cons, I really don't see too many. I did notice that the wheel doesn't turn as well depending on the brace that the bike is leaning on but it isn't that big of a deal as far as my kids were concerned. It would be nice to have a rechargeable option but perhaps that would make the bike not run as long as it has with the batteries. Overall, this is a great bike and my kids (from ages 3-10) have all had a great time taking turns with it.
