GE Extra Large Oblong Electric Skillet

It won't last very long! Used recommended utensils but it's already scratched on the bottom. Food sticks and burns to the bottoms even on low heat. Look elsewhere for an electric skillet..

everything cooked int his skillet stuck. no matter if you used non stick spray or not. always used the nylon utensil and scothbrite pads to wash, and within three or four uses had to throw out the skillet because the teflon coating was gone.

RECEIVED THIS SKILLET FOR CHRISTMAS USED IT THE FIRST COUPLE TIMES NO PROBLEM THEN STARTED NOTICEING PEELING AND SILVER DOTS AROUND HEATING ELEMENT AND EVERYTHING STARTED STICKING NO MATTER HOW MUCH BUTTER OR OIL IS USED ALSO CANNOT CLEAN IT TO WELL SHOULD BE EASY TO CLEAN AM EXCHANGING FOR SOMETHING ELSE

I am on my 2nd GE skillet in 2 months. The first one lasted about 6 meals and I noticed scratch marks and then a silver ring in the bottom of the skilled where the coils are. I KNOW I used the right tools on it......the coating peeled off. I returned it to Walmart without a receipt..they were very good about exchanging it...I tried a 2nd one, same kind.....SAME THING! coating is already coming off and everything sticks.....my advice: DONT waste your money....

Had about 6 years now. Use it at least 4 nights a week. Cooks and heats even. Not real crazy about plastic lid, broke mine about 2 years back but it still works great. Easy to use.
