Gillette Fusion ProShield Chill Razor Blade Refills, 4 count

At first I thought this "Flexball Technology" was gimmicky, I was very critical and didn't expect to be impressed. However, I was looking forward to my first shaving experience to really give this razor a chance. Well, lo and behold, I was taken back by the smoothness and flexibility of this razor! I received the Gillette Fusion ProShield Chill Razor and ProShield sensitive gel as a promotional with the request I provide an honest review of my experience. I decided it was imperative that I use the razor for a few weeks before I can provide an honest overall review of the product. Let me begin by stating I grow hair quickly, it is thick, and I have very sensitive skin. A horrible combination that equates to feelings of torture to shave even once per week. The very first use of the five blade with proglide lubrication and flexball technology is what makes this product. My first shave I grew my beard out to approximately 1/8 inch in length. I worked the fusion proglide gel into somewhat of a lather and began my first shave with the razor. It cut quickly with little tug or pulling, and was very comfortable. The flexball technology was something I felt skeptical about, but must admit the contours of my chin and neck is where this feature really shined. My first shave felt close, smooth skin, zero nicks/cuts, and zero razor burn! I mitigate razor burn and discomfort after every shave with aftershave, but the combonation of the proglide sensitive gel and chill razor left my skin feeling "cool" and not the least bit irritated. I didn't use aftershave, a first in almost 30 years. I will shave once per week, and use an electric trimmer to shorten the beard after a few days. The reason I do this is because if I shave more than once per week I get horrible and painful razor burn. My face, especially my neck looks very bad-and painful. For the purpose of a quality review I attempted a follow up shave after three days. Again the beard was cut close and quickly, and afterwards my neck didn't have any cuts and only a very slight redness. Other shaves this early would always leave my skin red, bleeding, and bumpy. It would last for days and prolong my ability to shave until I healed. This razor and gel alleviated that problem, and provided a true shave for sensitive skin! Color me impressed. I debated on a five star rating. Yes, after my very positive (if not best shave I have had), I did find some small negatives. My third and fourth shave equated to some tugging when using the razor. The blades were noticeably duller only after two uses. By my fourth shave I was using a second blade to cut the long hair, and the first blade clean up. The tugging and pulling was very noticeable, and I feel despite how wonderful the shave is it should last longer than two-three shaves without any tugging/pulling. Despite my questions to how long the blades last the razor and gel left my face with the best shave I have had, and this means a great deal due to my sensitive skin. I received this Gillette razor for free from Gillette and I really loved this razor.First of all I loved how heavy duty the handle is and love the flex ball technology. I Normally have a hard time shaving around my adams apple and get alot of cuts, but since the the razor has the flex ball technology and moves while I shave I have not experienced any cuts, the razor moves beautifully with my face. Another thing I liked were the cooling strips. I liked that they felt nice and cool on my face. This razor definitely gave me a nice smooth shave and I would recommend it to others. I received this Gillette Fusion ProShield Chill Razor with Flexball Technology for free from Gillette and I am loving it! I've been using this regularly and it sure saves me a ton of time ever morning when I shave. What I like especially is how smooth the shave is using the Flexball technology. Normally when I shave it will catch on stubs on my face, but the Flexball lets me move the razor in all directions easily. I recently received a sample kit from Gillette to try their new Fusion Pro Shield Chill Razor with Flex all Technology and it rocks! I have to say it lives up to its name as the "Chill Razor". I could definitely feel the difference as it left my skin feeling clean, cool and refreshed.
