Lands' End Women's Pull On 7IN Chino Shorts Forest Moss Mini Floral Regular 18

This review covers both the Golden Candlelight and Light Stone shorts that I ordered about a month ago. The quality is good but there are some features I don't particularly care for. One is the weight of the fabric. These shorts feel like a heavyweight fabric. I live in southern Az and would prefer a lighter weight pair of shorts. The fabric also has a stiff feel to it. Two, the waistband is too wide. It reminds me of the shorts that boxers wear. Three, the bottom of the path legs brush up against my thighs with each stride I take. Ty his is annoying. This does not happen with shorts I have from another retailer. This might to the fact that the shorts from the other retailer are 15” wide vs these Lands End shorts are 14” wide. (The other retailer's shorts are size Large vs Lands End size 18.). Hips fit fine. Seat is probably has a little bit too much fabric. After all this has been said I will be keeping the yellow pair of shorts and sending back the stone color shorts. I like the yellow color. I'm hoping that after a couple of washings the fabric will feel less stiff. I can wear the shorts when the weather gets cooler. Until then I'll just wear the yellow shorts in A/C places.

These shorts just arrived and they are wonderful, soft, well made and fit really well for pull-on shorts. The pockets are deep enough to actually put things in. They are a little fuller in the leg than pictured, but that's ok with me. I also bought a navy pair, too!

Loved the material quality and pattern. Greatly disappointed in the fit of the shorts. I am a size 16 with slim legs. These shorts fit like a very baggy “ skort” with incredibly wide legs and lots of extra material in the tummy area (my stomach is flat). To be fair, this fit has happened at another retailer. Just because I am a size 16 in my waist does not mean I have large legs and a bulging stomach.

I have plenty of capris for summer but have hesitated to purchase shorts, because I never know how they will look or fit when ordering. These Knockabout chino shorts make me glad that I took the chance on them. The fabric is heavy and holds its shape, the style is flattering, and the fit is great. Wish I'd got more at the same time!

I love these shorts and have purchased them in 5 colors/patterns. The coral with palm trees and the beach scenes on a white background are terrific designs. They fit (size 10 regular) me perfectly and are easy to take care of. They are the best shorts that Land's End has made in ages.
