AVEENO Active Naturals 1% Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream 1 oz (Pack of 4)

I have never tried hydrocortisone cream before but have had persistent ring rash and decided to purchase Aveenos brand as I love their other products. It cleared it up within days. This cream is thick and hydrating and soothing. It's also very affordable and will last me forever. I'm so glad I purchased this product.

I have had a flare up on my hands that nothing, NOTHING, can ease. My home is a testimony to product trying/over buying. Then on holiday in Nashville for the week, I tried this…. Day 2 and my palm has healed over. My eczema cracked heels have relief for the first time in months. I shall be stocking up for the suitcase to take back to England as this beats my prescribed lotions ‘n' potions by a mile. Thank you.

This is the best cream I have ever used in a lifetime of eczema. Please could you tell me if there are any stockists in the UK so that I can avoid being stung by customs duty? Thank you. (I've had to make up a State in order to post this question ~ I actually live in England!)

I seem to remember using a similar Aveeno lotion product that had oats as an ingredient. It was great for when my sling would get itchy. It's rare to occur, so when I looked for some last summer, I couldn't find it. This works well, but it's more for spot relief I think. Works well though.

I purchased this product a few months ago for my dermatitis. My dermatologist recommended that I stop using creams that have a lot of water, as water can have a paradoxical effect of causing dryness. I read the ingredients for Aveeno Hydrocortisone and was delighted. Not only was there little water, but the first four ingredients were familiar and highly regarded for skin conditions: aloe, oat kernal extract, oat kernal flour, and oat kernal oil. Yay! All good stuff! Only at the very end of the ingredient list was water. The product was helpful for my condition, and I felt great about using it. Today I bought another tube from the same store. I got home and checked the ingredients. To my surprise, despite having the same name and packaging, the product ingredients have drastically changed! The first four ingredients are now: WATER, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, and CETEARETH-20!! Forms of oat are relegated much further down the list, and aloe is near the bottom. I wish I had read the ingredients at the store, now I have to take it back. Very disappointed. Despite the hoopla about oats and aloe, this new formulation displaces those ingredients with water and alchohol. Bait and switch.
