Karma's World Sing Along Boombox with a Real Working Microphone, Flashing Light Show, and Built-in Music from the Show.

A pretend boom box for younger kids- I'd say under 4. The only part of this toy that interacts is the microphone & the back & forth moving of the record by the child using it. The singing is pre-recorded and sung by Karma and friends. On the front there are 4 green buttons. 1 is for off and 3 are for songs. You can sing along or just listen! Or you can sing through the microphone and hear your own voice! Don't forget to spin the record like a real DJ does! This item takes 3AA batteries. The battery cover is safely screwed on the back and opens with a small philips screwdriver. The on/ off switch, volume switch,( to high, med, low) are also on the back. The reason I think this is for younger kids is because of the lack of interaction. Kids over 4 or 5 don't want toys that just play a few selections of songs. Even though the toy is listed as 3+years I think a 2 year old up to 4 years old would love it!

This is a cute, small, toy boombox that, in my personal opinion, is better suited for younger children. Karma's World Sing-Along Boombox with Scratching Sound Effects and Built-In Music will be especially fun for kids that are already fans of the show Karma's world. Although this toy boombox is made of plastic, it seems to be sturdy and well-made. The toy is small, lightweight and has a carrying handle on top. The colors are bright and joyous: purple, pink and aqua. There are only four workable buttons, and they are easy to push, so little ones can operate this toy by themselves. I like that the battery compartment requires a screwdriver to open. The boom box requires three AA batteries, which are included. I also like that a second on/off button and a volume control button have been added to the back of the boombox. I was a little disappointed to discover there are only three songs programmed in this toy, but all three songs are from the popular show Karma‘s world; happy, energetic songs that kids will love to sing along with. The “music record” in the center of the boombox rotates very easily, allowing little hands to make scratching sound effects while lights flash in different colors. I know the microphone cord must be short in order to prevent a child getting it wrapped around their neck, but the short cord requires the child to be very close to the boombox while using the microphone . I did deduct one star because the microphone does not work correctly on the boombox we received. it only works if you put your mouth directly on the microphone while pushing the button. I clean toys often, but with three little ones, even taking turns, there is no way to clean the microphone every few seconds. I also think the Karma's World Sing-Along Boombox with Scratching Sound Effects and Built-In Music is a little pricey, but brand name items usually are. Overall, I think fans of Karma's World will really enjoy this toy boombox.

This is a great representation of the show. So if any little one is into it, they will love this. It has a few different sounds and the microphone works, not really loud, but it does work. The sound is loud, but not the mic. Easy to carry around and a really cool gift.

My girls were so excited to get this Karma's World Sing Along Boombox. It comes with an attached working microphone for a great karaoke feel. This is very interactive. There are three songs from the show. The volume is adjustable and the record play turntable has sound effects. My girls also loved the lights that came on with this too. The one down side for me was how loud this is. My kids loved it, but even on the lowest volume setting it is super loud. If that doesn't both you, this is a great toy. For me, it was too loud and I have noise sensitivities that make this a bit overwhelming to have on for very long. This is great for kids that love the Karma's world show and want to experience the songs at home.

My 4 year old can't put this boombox down. She loves all the 3 songs that play on the boombox. I was surprised the songs are actually longer than 30seconds. The music is catchy and the lights on the turn tables lights up as the song plays. You can move the turntable and dance along with the music. As for the microphone you need to press on the button to make it work. This is a really cool boombox.
