Play tunes from your MP3 player or portable audio player through any FM stereo receiver in your vehicle or at home. Just find an available frequency (not broadcasting a clear signal), and set the TuneCast II transmitter to it. Then set up to four different frequencies in the programmable memory to make it easy to find the clearest station, wherever you go. The unit simply powers on when an audio signal is detected. If no signal is detected for a period of 60 seconds, the TuneCast II switches off.

Transmits on available FM channels from 88.1 MHz to107.9 MHz Low-battery, LED indicator Mobile power cord for optional battery-free operation (will not charge the batteries) Operating range: 10-30 feet (a distance of 10 ft. or less will minimize interference and provide the strongest signal) Frequency Range: 50 Hz to 15 kHz Power adapter plugs into a wall outlet to recharge your USB-equipped player Includes Tunecast II FM transmitter, AAA batteries, AC wall charger and car cord

I purchased this before taking a long trip and tried to give it a go. I did all of the instructions and couldn't get it to work at all.

I bought this unit before I read the reviews. Couldn't get any reception in the car and needed to put the transmitter right next to the antenna for my home radio. New batteries didn't help. Will return tomorrow.

Battery life is very short. Documentation isn't the best, but it's fairly intuitive. Decent solution for the price.
