Never did want to charge my iPod from the start. Used anyway and had a lot of static on 3 of the 4 presets. Lasted only 2 days and quit working all together. Limited, preset stations is not a good idea when there are several products that offer virtually unlimited stations. Did not hold iPod securely and was worried that it might fall out. Long extension from your 12v supply limits where you can install as it may interfere with shifter, console lid, ash tray, etc. Returned to store for full refund. Purchased a more expensive product from walmart and it works great on the first day.

i have this and i love it! it has an extra outlet on it. that i can charge my phone off off it. the only thing that is bad though is it doesnt charge the ipod. i dont know if its mine.. but everytime i plug it in it says "charging not accessible with this device or something. so i'm thinking about getting one that does charge.

The transmitting and charging work pretty well for the price. HOWEVER after a few weeks of use, the product literally started smoking, leaving my car smelling of burnt plastic. Upon close inspection I realized some of the chords had snapped. Must be because I leave it in my car and it regularly hits negative 10 or 20. The chord is likely to snap when bent. So just make sure you use this product carefully, I would take it out of the car, but it's so big and clunky.

I don't know what happened! I bought this for Christmas and it worked for two days. I tested the outlet in the car and it works, now I'm off to return this and see if there is another. I was impressed with how simple it was, just plug it in, plug the ipod in, turn the station and vuala' music to my ears.

This FM transmitter works great , my only complaint is that it only has 4 FM stations that you can use . If the stations are not empty you won't be able to listen to your Ipod or mp3 through your car stereo . In my town only 1 of the 4 works , the other 3 are occupied by radio stations. It would be better if it had more than 4 channels to choose from . Sound quality is as good as it gets .
