Minwax Water-Based Oil-Modified Polyurethane, Semi-Gloss, Clear, 1/2 Pint

I had to sand between every coat on a large super smooth walnut slab. It dried with so many brush marks left that I had to resend with 400 grit to get it flat again. I tried a temp of 60° and 70° with the same results. Never had that problem with regular water based Minwax poly.

To me CLEAR means colourless. I stirred thouroughly. I folllowed the way too tiny directions using a magnifying glass. The product applies and cleans up easily, and does not smell. BUT!!! BE WARNED! This product leaves a yellowish tinge and completely destroyed the look of a teal and pink coloured project, turning the teal too greenish and yellowing the pink. So dissappointed. Too much work to redo.

I used on a wooden lawn chair that my son had built years ago. Thinking its life was limited i gave this product a shot. LOVE the results and now know i can enoy that chair a bit longer!

It is easy to apply, dries quickly, and lasts long.
