Gel Stain Chestnut, Half Pint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works really well to help touch up any wood chips or scratches. I took a gamble with picking the color online, but it matches perfectly and does a nice job of minimizing the appearance of scratches and dents. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the stain to make wooden stained signs for the front of my house. It was easy to apply and no mess. I loved that it was a gel and went on smooth. It was easy to apply and gave consistent color. Mt welcome signs are beautiful and the white welcome wording contrasts nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minwax Gel Stain is a great product. We used it to stain an old farmhouse table. It was easy to use. I loved that the consistency kept it from dripping. It goes on smoothly and easily. Provided the perfect finish to our table that now looks brand new.

I used this on a very heavily varnished hutch that I didn't want to spend days sanding. I scratched up the surface a bit with a sanding block and wiped it down with water. Using the gel stain was easy but I didn't leave it on for 3 minutes first before wiping. I wiped it into the surface almost like you would do with a regular stain. I then used a dry brush to even put some of the areas that you could see imperfections. Looks awesome!! So happy with the results that I did two more tables and my mantel!
