Minwax Helmsman Teak Oil, Clear, 1 Quart

I bought this “teak oil” and was disappointed!!  Not what I wanted the finish is sticky and is more like a varnish than oil I truly do NOT recommend this product it really does NOT do as promised in the can.  I would need to refinish again my teak rockers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Helmsman® Teak Oil on my old kitchen table. This oil penetrates into the wooden pores and very quickly restores the wood. My table now looks brand new! This teak oil also protects the wood from UV rays if you apply it periodically. I can't wait for summer to apply this oil to my outdoor furniture.

It is good for indoor or outdoor wood furniture. It helps to block both moisture and UV rays. It is easily applied with a brush or a rag. 2 coats are recommended for better , longer lasting protection. The furniture is dry to the touch in 6 - 8 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just pick this up last week and my plan was to use it on my deck. Unfortunately, since we have gotten quite a bit of snow I decided to use it on a project in the house. I had sanded down a small end table and used this teak oil to seal it instead of painting it. I stirred the can really well and applied it with a brush. It applied nicely to the end table and dried pretty fast. I still have one coat to put on it but I'm very pleased with the results. I hadn't heard of this oil before but was very impressed with it.
