I got a chance to try this high chair as a part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I like the simplistic look and setup of this high chair. Its slim profile and folding feature make it great for small spaces and storage. However, after using it the middle bar is such a pain to get a child into and I think it is really unnecessary. It didn't fit my son correctly and it caused him to get stuck quite a few times. I tried to refer to the directions to see if I was perhaps doing something wrong but it wasn't helpful. In my opinion there are much better options out there than this. The Clifton high chair did the job but not without problems. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This high chair is a decent chair for the price. For my older children, I had another brand that I felt was more user friendly than this model, but if I hadn't had any previous experience, I would have been happier with this seat. The seat assembled quite easily. I popped a few pieces in and was done in less than five minutes. It is a nice color and does fold up to be compact for small spaces. I typically don't fold it after each use and leave it set up near our dining table. Thus, we've had a few stubbed toes on the chair's feet. (Maybe I should fold it up!) The fabric is nice and doesn't appear "cheap." I haven't had to wash it yet, but I assume it will wash well. One issue I had was with the angled T bar. I didn't find that I had much trouble getting my 7 month, 21 lb baby in, but getting him out was tough. My 3 year old also sat in the high chair one day to color, and he was able to get in and out with a little wriggling and turning. My biggest complaint on this seat was that there is no option to control the tray with one hand. It's two handed operation. That isn't a problem unless you go to put the baby in and realize the tray in still in place. I do like the 3 adjustable tray positions as it allowed me to tuck the tray in close to my son. The straps were easily adjustable. I felt the provided shoulder pads were a little thick and in the way for my 7 month old, but it didn't hinder him at all. The height of the seat and tray fit well with our dining table, and baby boy loved being at the table with us. Overall, if you need a nice high chair without a high cost, this is a great option. However, if you can spend a little more, you may want to find something without the angled T bar and with a one hand operable tray. Thank you so much to weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing me the opportunity to review this high chair! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I got a chance to try this high chair as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. Top pro: folds up easily and is very compact Top con: awkward tray - too close to the baby and not always the easiest to adjust We like it generally, and will leave it at our family's weekend house for when we travel there. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this high chair! It's a decent high chair for the price. Here are my thoughts: PROS - Folds up! This was a big plus for us because we wanted to be able to put the high chair away when needed. A lot of the more expensive high chairs don't fold up. - Relatively easy to clean - material on the seat is easy to wipe off. - Sturdy - highchair doesn't seem flimsy. - Good height - Five-point harness is easy to use and makes me feel comfortable that my child is secure in it. CONS - The T-bar makes using this highchair way more difficult than it needs to be. It's nice that it keeps the child secure in the highchair while I'm fidgeting with the seat belt--however, I wish so badly they had added a hinge at the bottom of the T-bar so that it could be bent out of the way while I'm trying to seat my child. - Tray takes a bit of getting used to in order to get it on and definitely requires two hands. - I wish the seat cover was machine-washable. I received this high chair as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel and was excited to try it out. I love how compact it folds. I can bring it places where I know there aren't any high chairs, for instance a family member's house. It's lightweight also, I can lift it with one hand, no problem. The fabric seems very durable, which is a huge bonus. But there's not too much padding on the seat. Mainly though, the reason I have to give this product 3 stars is because of the crotch bar. It's too tight to get a wiggly baby in and out of. And I can see my daughter outgrowing that very fast. I do wish it was attached to the tray, or if the horizontal part of the T wasn't there, if that makes any sense. If Evenflo adjusted that issue, I think it would be a 5 star product.
