Evenflo Premium Proflo Venting Balance Plus Standard Neck Baby Bottles for Newborn - Infants, 4 oz Pack of 6

I did A LOT of research before my baby was born knowing I was going to nurse and bottle feed. I wanted the best most comfortable option for us both. The newborn nipple slow flow was great! We had no problems and she was enjoying her bottle. Once she hit 3 months out LC said we should increase the flow on her nipples. We ordered the next size up for the medium flow and the entire shape of the nipple is different. I noticed, but prayed she didn't. She did. It was a nightmare and now she was refusing the bottle. Why on earth would you change the shape?! Know babies and babies and so finicky!? I truly don't understand. We needed up going with Lansinoh. So not recommended evenflo for this reason. Who knows you may be able to be persistent, but the shape may also be different on the high flow!

You can't tell which flow the nipple is. There's no number or letter to show. I prefer the wide versus the narrow. I got the narrow because the wide didn't have medium flow. The medium flow is quite a two up from slow. My baby would get frustrated from the slow sometimes and I switched the medium but she also didn't like that one. I'm sticking with medium for now and she's 3 months.

I bought the balance+ bottles when my baby was born, and now I bought the medium and fast flow to fulfill her needs. She had no trouble switch between breastfeed and the bottle. With the balance + nipples she doesn't spill her formula and she's visible comfortable than with others that we had to use while waiting for this to arrive. It's a shame they are rare to find in stores in USA, and not be able to purchase them in Mexico.

I bought these for my breast-fed baby so that we'd have the option for my husband to feed him. The baby has taken to these nipples best by far. Previously, we tried Dr Browns premie and 1 nipples, lanisoh, and nuk. He always fought feeding from those and would often have a shallow patch if he did latch. I replaced the Dr Browns nipples with the EvenFlo but kept the Dr Browns bottles and it's been great!

I love the Evenflo wide neck nipples especially for my 7 month old baby who feeds on breast and bottle. I made the mistake of getting the fast flow when I should have gotten medium flow. The fast flow has a fairly large X rather than just a whole at the tip and it was far too fast for her. I wish there would have been a picture of the opening in the description so I could have known prior to purchasing online. I will hold onto the nipples to see if she can use them in a few months.
