As a mom who was using three other pumps for three different needs, I can honestly say this replaces all three of those. Being able to pump without being hooked up to the wall is essential to maximizing any free time I'm able to get. This pump is super comfortable and the fact that they include three sizes of flanges is so convenient, especially if you're expecting to pump right after giving birth. The machine is tiny and I am able to put it right in the little insulated bag that comes with the pump, along with the bottles and the flanges, until I have milk in them of course. I love that there aren't that many pieces to clean. To make it all better, using the app has been so insightful and has helped me get into a rhythm where I am producing more milk and still able to be productive doing other things. Overall, a great value for the price and it includes everything you need, unlike more expensive brands. We were sent the Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0 as part of the Stellar product testing panel, and mostly were very pleased with it. It proved very easy to get started with and to adapt to daily use. It's extremely compact and the battery life seems to be very good, so the portability of the pump is excellent. It's easy to take anywhere and makes life simpley by not having to be tethered to an outlet. The settings allow you to accommodate to your needs and it actually proved more effective at expressing milk than other pumps. The flanges were comfortable and useful, and having multiple sizes helped with that customization as well. But those flanges are big. It made comfort and discretion a lot more difficult, and this pump also specifically requires a pumping bra where others are bit more adaptable to any kind of bra. And while the battery holds a charge very well, when it did get critically low there was no indication and it just shut off without warning. The other issue is not so much a matter of function, but the product was advertised as having a corresponding app, and as of now the app for the 3.0 was not available for download, and the most recent app was for the 2.0. All around this is a high quality pump and users will be very pleased with how much easier it makes their routines. But there are a few issues to work out that could make significant improvements.

I am officially a convert to the Lansinoh Smartpump 3.0!!! Like all mamas, I am trying to multitask while I pump. Because of how lightweight and compact it is, I can literally stick the pump in my waistband, pop on a pumping bra and forget that I'm pumping. Totally hands free. I have used other rechargeable, cordless pumps in the past but always feel like I am lugging it around with me. Not with the Lansinoh! As some context, my babe is 9 months old and she has always had breastmilk. I am trying to increase my supply so that I can pump fresh bottles for her for when I go back to work. I had previously been getting just one or two ounces at night to store, which would take upwards of 20-25 minutes. However, with the Lansinoh, there are three different settings that have helped to better mimic my daughter's feeding habits. In just a week of using the Lansinoh pump, I have increased to getting about three ounces each night, in about 15-20 minutes. That is a win! I also think that the increase is due to previously using the wrong size breast flange and not even knowing it. This pump comes with three different sizes to try (25/28/30). I would never have known otherwise! Down sides: the parts are a pain to clean - I am in a hurry to rinse them after use and the disassembly definitely slows me down. Also, if I am pumping one breast, the hose to close off the other side of the pump falls out pretty easily. So, in one session I am having to re-attach the hose several times. Also, I am pretty tech savvy but couldn't get my pump to pair with the Lansinoh Baby App. Shoutout to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test and review this item! I received this breast pump for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a 2nd time mom, this pump was a great option for pumping. I was able to pump through eight 20 minute pumping sessions and still had 1/4 battery left. The fact that is came with multiple sized flanges was great because I use two different sizes. I love that the let down mode automatically changes to expression after two minutes when you start or when you change it back to let down mid pump. With my first baby, I'd constantly forget to change the mode. I wish that it had some with a carrying case, but based on research, it looks pretty similar to the 2.0 version, so I'm sure I could purchase one that would fit. I originally downloaded the wrong app and got very frustrated when I could not get the pump to connect to it. Once I resolved that issue, I had no issues and the pumped paired right away. However I did not realize I'd have to have the app open for it to connect each time and I often forgot and so I did not record most sessions. This feature was not super important to me since I didn't have a lot of need for it. However if I was alternating pumping on each side, it may have come in handy. It was easy to carry if I needed to get up and do something like let the dogs in. However, it would not be easy to maneuver around if I was actually trying to get a chore done since there is no way to carry it besides in your hand. So multi-tasking is still limited. Overall, I really liked the suction level options and the overall size of the pump.

Really impressed with this pump! Received as a Stellar product Testing Panel member. in short, it's easy to operate, has numerous customizable settings, comfortable and the small size really makes it portable. Pros: easy to setup, easy to operate, gentle yet quality suction and milk expression with 3 customizable settings along with typical cycle and vacuum settings so you're able to choose a setting closest to mimic your baby. Love how it automatically went into letdown mode and automatically goes into expression mode after a few minutes- I often forget to manually switch that with my regular pump. I love how it comes with extra parts and a cooler. The comfort flanges truly are comfortable. I was concerned as I have a smaller size but when you look in the manual, the smallest flange fits my smaller size. I love how it's cordless and rechargeable – the very small size truly makes it able to be used anywhere. Cons: the rubber area, making the flange, comfort, flanges, warped, when I sanitize them in a sanitizing bag, the Bluetooth pairing for the app was somewhat difficult as other numbers flash on the screen when you're trying to find the right number to pair the devices, I wish that you would unhook the collection parts at a different area because you end up taking other parts apart that are not necessary apart in order to unhook yourself. It would be helpful if the information online or that gets marketed to you mentions the additional mm sizes that work- I'm a 19 and was concerned there would be no flange to fit me however, when you look at the directions, my size is covered in the smallest flange. The tubing and clear plastic piece that you can use to change from one to two pumps at a time, seems very cheaply, made and easily breakable, which I find concerning. I tried the app a few times and didn't really love it. It was kind of tedious, and could be more simplified for ease of use, but the idea is great.
