Easy enough to use, convenient, and does shave closer than I had expected. I find a bit of difficulty on my neck. First-time user of electric shaver, so I may need some adjustment and skill development; perhaps.

I have been using the Braun Series 5 shaver for the past 6 months.Up until that time I had been a lifelong user of the double-edge safety razor. I wondered if switching to an electric shaver would provide as satisfying a shave. This shaver provides an excellent shave. It took me and my beard about 3 weeks of use to become accustomed to an electric shaver. The shave is close and the trimmer is very handy for side burns and mustache trimming. The shaver is comfortable in my hand. I use the cleaning station regularly and it also keeps my shaver charged. I am very satisfied with the quality.

This replaced my old Remington Rotery razor. I'm really pleased with the smooth comfortable shave. After the first week the battery is still showing two thirds charged. I haven't tried the cleaning station yet. Do to the cost I'll probably clean it manually.

Very noisy and pulled a few whiskers instead of cutting. I returned and bought the Philips-Norelco 4100 for $59. It is very quiet and shaves without pulling whiskers.

I had a Braun shaver before that was a good shave. This series 5 is compairable but it doesn't feel as well built as the one I owned before. This is a dry/wet shaver and I'm looking forward to see if there will be a difference.
