Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Scrubber Cleaning System, 1 Wand/ 5 Refill Sponges

The absolute BEST toilet scrubbers! If you haven't tried it and think your toilet is clean, trust me, it isn't. I made that assumption and was totally shocked at the black gunk that was under the rim. The exact gunk I could smell but never find, even scrubbing it with a regular toilet brush. It's gone now and the toilet doesn't smell funky. Toilet brushes don't have the strength or angle to clean super well, especially under the rim.

This is a little expensive for a single use brush. I thought about using bowl cleaner and using it again but it doesn't have as much scrubbing capability as I thought it would. Plus it doesn't fit into the holder with the scrubber part still attached, so there's really no good way to store it till the next cleaning.

This has to be one of the most awkward products I've ever had the opportunity to try out. I'm still trying to figure out why this product is necessary and better yet, who thought it was such a great idea? The wand and caddy come well packaged, but taping the wand to the caddy with wide masking tape was the first thing that annoyed me. Remove the tape and you're left with a sticky residue on the wand. To get started, open the package of cleaning refills, insert the end of the wand and use the switch on the wand to lock in the refill. It's hard to tell if you have the refill on the right way until you go to use it. I will say that the cleaning solution on the refills seems to be pretty good at getting off even hard water stains in the bowl. The only problem is this product was designed to clean under the rim and not anything else. When I tried to clean the mouth of the toilet with it, it was at an uncomfortable angle and I wasnt able to apply any elbow grease at all since the wand and refill weren't rigid enough. The cleaner turns the water in the bowl deep blue which makes it impossible to see if you really did clean the mouth of the bowl. At one point I got the refill caught in the hole and couldn't get it back out. I finally did, but the idea of having to put on rubber gloves to blindly fish out the refill if it broke free of the wand was the tipping point for me. There is no way that this product with this price tag and limited use would take the place of my dollar store scrub brush and cheap toilet cleaner. It's just not worth the hassle.

This wonderful little wand is perfect for any bathroom. The white coloring blends in and it's not large or bulky. There is a little side area that holds the scrubbers. There is no handling you put the wand down and snap on the scrubber everything is right there (cleaner is on scrubber already) you clean the bowl then hold it over the trash click the button and the scrubber pops right off into the trash. I love the fact that I don't have a nasty brush with or without holder sitting there next to the bowl. that sits week after week. The little scrubber does a great job up under the rim, and removes hard water stains there. After using this for several weeks I thought about the other ways this little compact design would work in. The product is perfect for use in a travel trailer, college dorms, summer cabins etc.. Traveling you don't think about the everyday things this is a clean little unit for the job no one wants to do! and the design keeps it under wraps

This Scotch-Brite Disposable Toilet Bowl Scrubber Cleaning System really made me sit up and take notice when I used it the first time. We have so many minerals in our city water that just having the water enter the bowl when it's flushed, leaves marks or stains if you will. all down the inside of the bowl. Most cleansers just caused streaks if they worked even a little. I have tried a number of cleaning products to get it off to no avail. The water also left a terrible ring that just got worse and worse. Now, I'm not talking about an old toilet, I'm talking about one only a couple of years old so you can tell I was completely frustrated. To have to use a soap stone to scrub and scrub hard to get the ring out just wasn't my cup of tea so when I got this system to test out for Walmart, even though it's especially meant for under the rim where the water comes out, I wasn't expecting miracles. BUT, not only did it get out most of the nasty mineral build up there, the cleaning compound in the pad did a lot for the rest. I scrubbed the rest of the toilet with it but didn't flush. I let it sit everywhere there were mineral stains including the ring. While it didn't get all the mineral stains when I used it, it faded them all so you had to look close to see them and the ring, while it didn't just wipe away, it loosened the minerals so that all I had to do was go over it lightly with the soap stone. No scrubbing hard enough to possibly damage the porcelain. It worked so well, we used it on the second 2 year old toilet with the same results. The 'scrubbers are so easy to put on the wand and with a touch of the button, they drop into the garbage. Your hands don't come in contact with the pads at all after you use them. All I can say is, what a find, we love it!
