It's just too heavy to allow for competitive play. There are smaller wooden paddles available that are considerably lighter, though they have smaller surface area.

Works well for the price. The ball sometimes goes off the edge since it's not completely flat so that can be a bit annoying. But overall you get what you pay for and it does the job.

I don't know what makes a cheap pickleball paddle worse than an expensive one but it seems that these cheap paddles serve the purpose. You can spend $6 for these or $50 for others. Even if they are less durable.....they're $6! Great deal even if they don't last as long.

The best starter paddles for the money! I ordered 4 paddles and they arrived in perfect condition. We have used them now for 2 weeks and not one single complaint. I would highly recommend for people who are starting out and just want their own paddle. If you are a seasoned player this is probably not the paddle for you.
