I absolutely LOVE this bar soap...my family and I have been using it for years. However, I HATE the new packaging....it is impossible to open without either damaging the bar of soap or breaking a finger nail. It's bad enough that I'm looking for another brand of glycerin soap to buy instead. The company's replies to customers' negative reviews of the product is good to hear, but doesn't change the awful packaging. The new packaging also holds in moisture to the bar, resulting in the soap developing weird "stars" or crystal/fuzzy spots throughout (at least the aloe vera version did).

I love this soap. I've been using it for years. But recently the packaging was changed to a shrink wrap that's very difficult to open without a scissors or something, and then I end up gouging the bar. I keep the next bar to be used on top of the shower door frame, and open the new one as needed. I shouldn't have to (and won't!) keep tools up there to open the soap. This morning it took me way too long to open a new bar, and I had to use my teeth to open it. This change was NOT a good idea! It wasn't broken, so why did you fix it?

Just love it. the best soap ever..there is a corner of my bathtub where i used to put my liquid soap, shampoo and face clenser..well to make a long story short right on the spot where i put those products the paint peeled off and now there is a rust spot.and remember the paint on a bathtub is also metal..this tells me of the chemicals on these products chemicals that were probably making me sick., but no more i use the essentials soap even to wash my hair and it feels great. I will recommend this product to everyone. You will feel your body calmed after showering with this soap since all those fragrances and chemicals are not penetrating your skin. try it for yourself and you will see.
