My son got this for his birthday 2weeks ago and funny enough I paid $64 for it and went back to walmart the next day to see they are now $49 and others to choose from, UGH oh well. Anyway, It was totally worth the $64 I paid for it, My son is 2 and he LOVED this so much! It took him just a few minutes to find that when he pushed the button it made him move & even though he still wont use his thumb lol (he uses his pointer finger) I think this was a GREAT buy! & I'd buy it again for the 64. Assembly was pretty simple, Your just putting the Handlebars on. Make sure you do it right the first time though. Really read the directions as it can be a little tricky. My son is 40lbs, 3' 2"s in a size 9shoe and it is a tight fit for his feet but he doesn't mind. I'm 150 and I got on it myself to show him in the beginning and it would go on our kitchen floor, obviously a little slower but still was able to pull me. I feel like this is a very solid made toy & I think it will last my son till around spring as he's still growing like a weed & then we will get him power wheels of some kind. I also want to add it holds Charge for a VERY long time, We've had it for 3weeks and it still held its charge, but remember it tells you NOT to let it completely die on charge - So I'm sure I should be letting it charge a little. It also tells you to not let it Charge for many hours at a time besides the first charge, Make sure thoroughly read the directions. :) I would give this toy 6starts if I could.
I bought this for our 2 year old for his birthday. He loves it, but it can only be used on flat surfaces. It works good on carpeting and wood, but not on smooth tiles or grass. We tried it out in our yard but it would just spin in place. We bought it because we have an incline on our yard and thought with this he could ride down and then ride back up without us pushing him, but it didn't work. Even the slightest incline would make it spin. Indoors it's great though. He zooms around from room to room and out on the wood deck. His 3 1/2 year old brother also uses it but because he is heavier the battery goes dead sooner, in about a day. Also my two year old learned very quickly how to take the seat off where the battery is charged.
My parents bought this when my oldest son was 18 months old. He is now three and has a one year old little brother. The three year old is about 32 lbs and the one year old is about 24 lbs. They love to ride it. They often fight over it. It goes all around the house and around the yard. Sometimes it gets stuck but not very often. I expected that though. I have friends who have children around the same age as my one year old and they also love to ride it.
I brought this Spider-man ATV for my 20 month old son. He loves his ATV and it is easy for him to use. His thumb gets tired after a while but that doesn't seem to bother him at all. He weighs 25lbs and it runs well with him on it and he has a size 6 foot which fits perfect. The ATV does run in the grass even though it gets stuck at times and runs very smoothly on the cement. Overall, this is a great product for 2 year olds.
I bought this for my son who at the time was 18 mo. I am a single mom so we don't have a lot of money but we recently moved into a house with a big back yard. I thought this toy would be great for him to ride around in but when I got it home it barely moved! I thought it was because it wasn't fully charged so I charged it over night. The next morning it still just sat in the grass spinning on one wheel. If I push him he moves for a couple feet then stops again. The point was to keep him entertained on summer afternoons and he can't even ride it! Now it just sits in the shed and he will drag it out for a couple minutes. He gets mad and screams because he wants to ride it but unless you are on a perfectly smooth sidewalk with no incline the stupid thing doesn't work! DO NOT BUY THIS TOY!!!
